STYLE MEME
join in via comments!

A: What accessories do you wear everyday?
usually two rings, one of a silver stallion, one of crossing leaves. or a black heart ring.

B: What is your beauty routine?
sex, drugs, rock n roll and eyeliner.

C: What was the last item of clothing (for yourself) that you purchased?
a marc jacobs esque sheer top from hm with a big loppy bow- i'm actually wearing it in the picture below.

D: Do you use a dresser, closet, or both?
a very, very over crowded clothes rack and a very, very overstuffed old bar for a dresser (yes.). And every time the seasons change, I swap my clothes out with what's under my bed. too bad we don't have seasons anymore.

E: What type of earrings are in your ears right now?
i used to wear big earrings, but it doesn't look good with short hair unless the're edie sedgwick style three-tiers. so i refrain.

F: What type of figure do you have (measurements)?
ridiculously exaggerated hourglass.

G: Do you wear glasses?
with pride and determination. my obsession is with men's frames from the '60s.

H: What type of handbag do you carry?
usually a simple black canvas tote from american apparell, that i bought two years ago and thought i was too flimsy to last longer than the week. or a gigantic navy boating bag or a plaid agyness deyn type thing. i'm a minimalist.

I: What is your ideal style?
british school boy. anything navy blue.

J: What is your favorite brand of jeans?
i am losing interest in pants (on me. not on men. men in pants are good. men without pants are sometimes better. but i digress). I can always count on old navy though.

K: Do you wear knee-hi stockings?
yes. plaid is best.

L: Do you *have* to wear matching lingerie?
no. i am a minimalist. black black black white white white and something pink thrown in. usually a fancy bra paired with plain panties. it looks good though. anything else looks too much like...a costume.

M: Do you wear makeup?
yes, but unless i'm going out, just the basics.

N: Do you wear nightgowns?
never. pajama bottoms and a t-shirt. although i love matching men's pyjamas. think this. that to me is very hot.

O: What outerwear do you put on when going out on a typical winters day?
i finally returned to a beautifully, classic 60s cut coat after years if trying the casual extended bomberjacket look. i failed. sometimes the red peacoat makes an appearance as well. and on warmer days, my leather bomber.

P: What is your favorite perfume?
anna sui signature, which they don't make anymore. otherwise, anything that smells of french whores. sounds really wrong, but think about it: you know exacty what i mean. powdery, heavy, feminine - right now i've got the new kate moss scent, former contenders where the cheap naomi campbell editions. also good: stella mccartney.

Q: Is your motto "quality over quantity" when it comes to clothing and accessories?
slowly but surely. i would rather buy expensive sweaters at american apparell than ones from hm that fall apart. but i do value the grab and toss clothing policy of hm and wear that stuff to death for a season. i have had some tshirts and dresses for years though, so i guess quality does win out.

R: Do you wear rain boots?
only at the frequency festival and with great distain.

S: Do you wear socks or slippers when your feet get cold?
my feet dont get cold at home. i'm always in bed (har har har).

T: Do you have a set of travel luggage?
No.

U: What is your daily uniform?
don't have one.

V: If you are married, did you wear a veil with your wedding dress? If not, how did you do your hair?
not married, not interested in veils (anything virginal at my wedding would be a joke). instead, i am getting this made if anyone should ever propose.

W: Do you wear a watch?
never. hate the idea.

X: What item of clothing always makes you feel beautiful?
vintage dresses that fit like they knew i was going to put them on 40 years later. pinches in the right spots, hides the other ones, and shows what you need to show. they really don't make stuff like that anymore.

Y: What is your favorite type of yarn?
i am not refined enough to answer this.

Z: Do you prefer zippers or buttons?
buttons. always.
